Two single mothers who come from different worlds. One is a race driver, the other a concert pianist and a gardener. Brought together by the birth of their children in a hospital ward. Both must cope with the unknown of motherhood, they must confront the past and face the truth regarding the paternity of their offspring. Big themes play out in modest circumstances. Missing fathers, babies, opera, car racing are part of this “female” film about friendship, forgiveness and the liberating power of truth.
