ABOUT AUSTRALIA AND NEW ZEALAND
We have created a new podcast series called “Aussie & Kiwi” to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Aussie & Kiwi Film Festival and it happens to be the only podcast about Australia and New Zealand in the Czech Republic!
Individual episodes are being released starting April 2023, and you can listen to them at any time on this page or on Spotify.
The podcast will be about life in Australia and New Zealand – about their landscape and environment and what threatens it, about their history, society, human rights, as well as the status of their minorities. We will also chat with interesting guests about topics related to Australia or New Zealand. Many people can only dream of visiting Australia or New Zealand. At school, there’s no time to focus on their history and geography (but kudos to all the exceptions out there!), and the news features only quirky, unusual items or extreme weather about them. So go on a journey to a faraway land and enjoy authentic sounds and film clips that will set the right tone for each episode.
There will also be some episodes in English. Let your friends and anyone you know who is interested in Australia or New Zealand about the podcast.
