A Sydney solicitor finds his seemingly normal life disrupted after he takes on a murder case defending a group of Aboriginal people. In the process, he not only learns disturbing details about himself but discovers that he shares a strange, mystical connection to them. Peter Weir, one of Australia’s best and most famous directors turned 80 this year and this screening will be our homage to his birthday and life’s work.
